The products made by authentic chips are characterized by high brightness and stable performance, but the price will be high.
2. FPC board quality
FPC boards are divided into double-sided panels and single-sided panels. Needless to say, double-sided panels are definitely better than single-sided panels, mainly reflected in much better thermal conductivity, and the quality is definitely more stable, and the corresponding price is also higher.
3. Cleanliness of solder joints and surfaces
The LED light strips produced by regular LED light strip manufacturers are produced by SMT patch technology, solder paste and reflow soldering process. Therefore, the solder joints on the LED strip are relatively smooth and the amount of solder is not much, and the solder joints extend from the FPC pads to the LED electrodes in an arc shape. However, the amount of solder in the solder joints of the counterfeit LED light strip is uneven, and there is usually a dot enclosing the solder leg, and at the same time, there will be different degrees of tin tip, which is a typical phenomenon of manual soldering. Our family is all produced by placement machines. In addition, the surface cleanliness of the LED light strip produced by the SMT process is very good, and no impurities and stains can be seen. If the counterfeit LED light strip produced by manual welding process, no matter how to clean the surface, there will be stains and traces of cleaning.
4. Color temperature difference
Regarding the color temperature difference, due to the deviation of the LED chip manufacturers when debugging the LED chips, it is normal for the color temperature difference to exist, but the LED light strips produced by regular LED strip manufacturers basically cannot see the color temperature difference with the naked eye in the same batch. . The color temperature difference between the same batch of inferior manufacturers is obvious.
5. Material
The high-voltage light strips are basically made of PVC materials, and regular manufacturers will use domestic environmental protection materials, which are basically tasteless. Irregular manufacturers use secondary recycled PVC materials, which will have a strong plastic smell during production. For the low-voltage lamp belt sleeve, regular manufacturers will use silicone sleeves, and non-standard manufacturers will use PVC sleeves. From here alone, the price varies greatly.
6. Packaging
Regular LED light strips will be packaged in anti-static rolls, usually 5 meters or 10 meters, and then sealed with anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bags. The counterfeit version of the LED light strip uses recycled reels to save costs, and there is no anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bag. If you look closely at the reels, you can see the marks and scratches left when the labels were removed.
